I took the following photos during the November 2003 Caverns of Sonora
Restoration Project. I greatly appreciate everyone's help with the project.
I've tried to get photos of everyone but have probably missed some people
and some photos simply didn't turn out well. I hope you enjoy what I got.
Many thanks to Bill Bentley for posting them.
We almost finished digging the rubble out of the Devil's Pit. Next year
will probably be our last large restoration project at Sonora for some
time. After that we'll likely move on to much smaller teams doing detailed
clean-up work. I'll continue to keep you posted via CaveTex on the trip
dates and goals as I work them out with the owners, who appreciate your
efforts more than they can ever say.
